First Experience

Well today was a big day. I was asked by a professor in the Math department to fill in for him and give a lecture on the section for his class. I was thrilled for the opportunity! He, for the most part, gave me a lesson plan, but I kind of filled in a couple of cracks here and there. While I was teaching the class, I grew a new appreciation for teachers. It is rather hard to ask a question, and have nobody speak up and answer. What's worse is that you can see it in some of their eyes that they are more than capable of answering the question. But overall, it was a great experience, and I had a ton of fun doing it!
